Again, see photos. This has happened to my retina mac book pro as well. Twice. The first time, Apple replaced the entire top lid (screen + enclosure), no questions asked. Now, I notice I have another "dent" in almost the same spot (just to the right of the trackpad, if the laptop were fully closed).

Buy at Apple does not like doing repairs, so if you have a dent on the top lid, they will most likely offer to replace the lid. If you have a dent on the bottom part, they will offer to replace basically the entire unit (disk, RAM, CPU, etc.). How much does it cost to repair the MacBook Pro screen?
